The AVMA supports the Small Business Paperwork Mandate Elimination Act (H.R. 5141). This bill would repeal the paperwork burdens imposed on businesses by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Unless this PPACA section is repealed, businesses will be subjected to data collection and information filing on virtually all business-to-business transactions they make aggregating $600 or more in a year. The bill is currently before the House Ways and Means Committee. Contact Gina Luke
