AVMA creates collection of helpful Web pages

Posted Nov. 15, 2008

From workplace safety to poisonous plants, the new AVMA Veterinary Practice Resource Center provides links to Web pages with a wealth of useful information.

The AVMA created the resource center for members by compiling a collection of Web pages that veterinary practitioners and administrative staff frequently visit.

The center links to Web pages relevant to licensing and accreditation, the livestock industry, administration and human resources, import/export and interstate travel, medical and ethical issues, general resources, and governmental agencies and resources.

The AVMA plans to manage the resource center actively, updating and adding Web links that veterinary practitioners and staff find to be most valuable.
