Morris Animal Foundation has redesigned its Web site, www.morrisanimalfoundation.org, with more interactive features.

The Web site includes the latest news on the foundation's scientific health research that benefits animals. New search capabilities allow users to identify animal health research successes by species, and disease or health issue. For example, users can search for cancer in dogs, laminitis in horses, or kidney disease in cats, and bring up relevant studies and successes.

Special for veterinarians, the Web site offers information on two donation programs, the Veterinary Memorial Program and Veterinary Client Cards. Also, an online forum serves as an interactive tool for veterinarians and others to share their interests in animals. The forum's community leaders will help bring animal lovers together for local meetings and events.

In addition, live Webcasts featuring reports of special, animal-related events and programs worldwide will be posted. Videos, photos, and professional profiles of the scientists conducting MAF research in 2007 are also available.

Headquartered in Denver, MAF has funded more than 1,300 humane animal health studies with funds approaching $50 million since its establishment in 1948.
