The AVMA's Washington, D.C., office has a new home, the first owned by the Association in the capital.

During the weekend of March 12-13, the Governmental Relations Division was scheduled to move to the historic, double row house at 1910 Sunderland Place N.W.

Nestled in the central business district of Washington, D.C., the new location is a reflection of the AVMA's commitment to increasing the visibility, influence, and effectiveness of veterinary medicine in the nation's capital.

Just two blocks from "Embassy Row," 60 yards from the Dupont Circle metro stop, and one block from the historic Dupont Circle, the new home for the AVMA GRD will be the setting for congressional receptions and visiting constituent associations, and possibly will become home to other associations looking to increase their visibility in Washington.

The full address for the AVMA Governmental Relations Division is 1910 Sunderland Place N.W., Washington, D.C. 20036. The phone numbers remain unchanged, and the GRD can still be reached at (800) 321-1473 or (202) 789-0007.
