The advance registration deadline for the 141st AVMA Annual Convention is approaching quickly. Association members who register before the April 22 deadline can save $100 off the full, on-site registration fee.

With a growing continuing education program that now exceeds 900 hours, the convention, which will be held July 24-28 in Philadelphia, promises to be one of the Association's best. Access to the history, dining, and shopping of one of America's oldest cities is driving strong early registration for attendees and exhibitors alike. Hope is high that the Philadelphia meeting will set an attendance record for the third straight year.

Registration forms and convention information were included in the March 15th issue of JAVMA. In addition, online registration, an interactive CE Session Finder, and a wealth of detailed information on Philadelphia are available online at the convention Web site, www.avma.org/convention/.

With heavy early registrations, there is a possibility that convention housing will fill up quickly. Reduced-rate hotel lodging can be reserved through the AVMA Housing Bureau. Forms suitable for mailing or faxing can be found in the March 15th issue of JAVMA. Online room reservations can also be made through the convention Web site. Reduced-rate housing rates will be available until June 25 or until supplies last.

Questions can be directed to the AVMA's Convention hotline at (847) 925-8070, Ext. 4700, or via e-mail at conventionatavma [dot] org.
