AVMA backs environment-friendly legislation

A new position statement that supports national and international legislation to reduce contaminant exposure was approved by the Executive Board. The new statement: "The AVMA supports legislation to prevent toxicoses in wildlife, domestic animal, and human populations through prioritized source reductions and mitigation, both domestically and internationally." It was recommended by the Committee on Environmental Issues. | ||
