AVMA Volunteer Opportunities - Vacancies

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the AVMA! As a volunteer, your travel, lodging, and meals are covered by the AVMA. We currently are seeking volunteers to fill the following positions:

AVMA Board of Directors

Nominations Due
February 1, 2018

Nominations are sought to fill the District VII Director position on the Board of Directors (2018-2024). Nominees must reside within the district, which includes these states: Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

Nominations are sought to fill the District IX Director position on the Board of Directors (2018-2024). Nominees must reside within the district, which includes these states: Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Utah).

A Campaign Guide is not generated for nominations from the floor of the HOD Annual Session, however candidates are encouraged to create a two-minute YouTube video explaining their qualifications and interest in the position for viewing by the members of the voting entity, the House of Delegates

American Board of Veterinary Specialties Positions

Nominations are due on October 10 with terms beginning February 2018

The AVMA is seeking volunteers to serve as members representing non-board certified veterinarians on the American Board of Veterinary Specialties (ABVS) One position is open, representing large animal practice (2 year initial term).
