The AVMA is looking for individuals to protect, promote, and advance the veterinary profession by strategically identifying, prioritizing, and processing important veterinary clinical practice and small business issues and making recommendations to the AVMA Board of Directors. The Panel will have the authority to convene working groups of qualified individuals with clear objectives. The Panel will operate with awareness of the needs of the AVMA's diverse professional segments and identify opportunities for general membership involvement.

The AVMA is looking for individuals to protect, promote, and advance the veterinary profession by strategically identifying, prioritizing, and processing regulatory matters pertaining to the Panel's specified areas of competency and making recommendation to the Board of Directors. The Panel will operate with awareness of the needs of AVMA's diverse professional segments, and identify opportunities for general membership involvement."Regulatory matters" include those veterinary medical issues that involve regulatory agencies and also that policy-making which guides legislative bills and international standards within the competencies comprising the Panel's membership.

Nominations are now invited to serve on the new AVMA Task Force on Antimicrobial Use Data Collection in Animal Agriculture.
The AVMA is searching for individuals to identify and evaluate methods for the collection of data on antimicrobial use in animal agriculture, provide scientific rationale, consider advantages and disadvantages for data collection, and ascertain the potential role of the veterinary community.
