AVMA Membership Dues Renewal FAQ

Q: Can I pay for more than one member?
A: Yes, you can pay for up to 25 AVMA members at one time. Go to the AVMA online membership dues payment page and log in by entering the first member's AVMA Member ID number and Password. Once you are logged-in, you will have the opportunity to enter the ID number of each additional member. Only one form of payment will be accepted for group renewals.

Q: Are there other ways to renew my membership?
A: You can renew your membership online, by mail, by fax, or over the phone.

Q: My membership lapsed prior to 2012. How do I become a member?
A: The option to renew your membership online is only available to those whose membership has lapsed at the end of 2012.

You can re-join the AVMA by choosing one of the following:

  1. Reinstate immediately by paying your back-year dues for continuous membership. Contact the AVMA Membership Division at 800-248-2862, ext. 6631. There are benefits to having continuous years of membership: Members who maintain continuous AVMA membership throughout their career can gain the benefit of reduced dues or dues exemption once they retire or reach honor-roll status. Retired members are only required to pay half-dues.
