AVMA welcomes the 2013 - 2014 Future Leaders

2013-2014 Future Leaders Class

The AVMA welcomes its third class of Future Leaders, who were named on July 21 at the AVMA Annual Convention held this year in Chicago, Illinois. Like previous years, the goal of the program is to develop leaders ready to help lead our profession into the future. The Future Leaders all graduated in 1998 or later and come from diverse backgrounds and professional practices.

Part of the yearlong program again this year is for the Future Leaders to develop tangible resources that are timely and useable for veterinarians. The first class developed a leadership toolkit, while last year’s class worked on cultural competency and its benefit to veterinary medicine. Development of resources is a service for members, while also being a project for the Future Leaders to tackle as a team.

See more about our newest Future Leaders in a video the Future Leaders did.

Welcome to the 2013-2014 Future Leaders!
