AVMA Invites Nominations for 2013-2014 Future Leaders

The AVMA invites nominations, including self-nominations, for the 2013-2014 Future Leaders Program by February 18, 2013 (see Program description and nomination form). Open to anyone who has graduated from veterinary school within the last 15 years, this program will help to further prepare individuals who have demonstrated interest in organized veterinary medicine, to be leaders for the AVMA and other veterinary medical associations at all levels.
There is nothing average about AVMA’s Future Leaders Program. It is a life-changing, meaningful experience for its graduates. This results from the hard work and team commitment throughout the year-long program by the Future Leader participants, assistance from AVMA staff, and the generous support  from the program’s sponsors Zoetis and High Impact Facilitation. We are proud that this intense program has really transformed our Future Leaders into new levels of leadership while also creating helpful leadership tools for the wider veterinary profession. This is a novel program focused on the Future Leaders collaborating on a team project and also working individually to promote their leadership skills. Still not convinced?
