Featured Topic: Audiovisual Proceedings of "Can You Hear Me Now? The Conversation" Now Available

On November 14-15, 2013, the AVMA hosted an intraprofessional conversation about animal welfare. "Can You Hear Me Now? The Conversation" was attended by approximately 175 veterinarians representing the diversity of the profession. Audiovisual proceedings of that event are available here exclusively for AVMA and SAVMA members.

Another AVMA animal welfare symposium, titled "Humane Endings: In Search of Best Practices for Euthanasia, Humane Slaughter and Depopulation of Animals," will be conducted in Rosemont, Illinois on November 2-5, 2014. More information, including a call for abstracts for oral presentations and posters, will be forthcoming--stay tuned!

The 2014 Public Policy Symposium will be held September 5-6, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Chicago, Illinois.

Planned by the AVMA Panel on Euthanasia, this Symposium will be conducted November 2-5, 2014 at the Westin O'Hare, Rosemont, Illinois.

The 2015 Veterinary Leadership Conference will be held January 8-11, 2015 in Chicago, Illinois.
