Timothy Johnson has been the Director of the Survey Research Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) since 1996. He is also the Professor of Public Administration and a Research Professor of Epidemiology & Biostatistics at UIC, where he teaches courses in survey methodology and data analysis. Additional responsibilities include serving as the Vice Chair of the Social & Behavioral IRB at UIC and as the Deputy Director of the UIC Center for Clinical and Translational Research. Tim is also Vice President/ President-Elect of the American Association for Public Opinion Research, and a Fellow of the American Statistical Association. His personal research focuses on measurement and nonresponse errors in surveys, as well as the social epidemiology of health behaviors.
