Gina G Luke

Gina LukeSpecialized in advocating on behalf of the health professions and higher education interests, Gina Luke has spent more than 25 years lobbying in the nation's capital. She joined the AVMA in 2008 as Assistant Director of the Division of Governmental Relations, spearheading the Association's lobbying efforts on federal budget and appropriations, small business and tax, veterinary workforce, higher education and training, and association issues. Prior to that she represented the American Dental Education Association and the American Council on Education. Gina was a member of the Penn Executive Veterinary Leadership Program 2017 and was an Education Policy Fellow in the Institute for Educational Leadership in 2003-2004. She earned a BS from Boise State University and has completed work towards a MS in public policy from the American University.
