Preventing Antibiotic Resistance Act (PARA) of 2015
The legislation amends the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act to ensure the safety and effectiveness of important human antimicrobials when used to prevent and control food animal diseases, in order to minimize the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
