Convention Connections ("Career Fair")
Indicate you will be in attendance at veterinary conventions, conferences and meetings!
Convention Connections is a wonderful feature that allows veterinary medical and animal health professionals to connect whether they want to fill a job vacancy or find the job of their dreams. When utilizing this feature, employers and job seekers are able to indicate that they will be attending specific conventions, conferences or meetings, thereby facilitating on-site interviews. Just look for the meeting icon accompanying a job posting to know the employer will be in attendance!
Convention Connections' Features:
- Mark your job posting and/or resume with the icon that corresponds to the meeting you are attending
- Include appropriate contact information in your posting information so you can be contacted to set up an interview while you are attending the meeting!
- Job seekers: Notify employers of your availability to interview on-site at a particular meeting or conference or convention – even reference this in your resume title!
- Employers posting jobs on the VCC: Alert job seekers of your presence at a veterinary conference – even reference this in your Job Title!
Job seekers:
The service will be available for all job seekers who post their resumes at the VCC as well as those who have a current resume online. Mark your resume with the icon corresponding to the meeting you will be attending that is featuring the Convention Connection/Job Fair feature to let employers know you will be on-site during that meeting. This allows interested employers to contact you to set up an interview at the meeting! Be sure to include contact information so an employer can contact you while you are at the meeting, too!
Employers:
Employers who will have an active job posting during the respective convention/ conference/ meeting should select the corresponding icon to mark their job posting to indicate they will be on-site during that meeting. This allows interested applicants to contact you to set up an interview at the meeting! Be sure to include contact information so an applicant can contact you while you are at the meeting, too!
