How to Participate
Interested in pursuing veterinary exchange opportunities in the United States? SAVMA can help.
AASRP (American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners)
The American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners provides a single forum for those with interest in small ruminants to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and set goals and objectives for the industry as a whole. AASRP collects information about student externship programs in small ruminant medicine and surgery. To find out what programs are available, visit www.aasrp.org or the student section of the AASRP website.
AASRP's mission is to improve the health and welfare of sheep, goats, cervids and camelids; to further the professional development of its members; to provide resources to elevate the standards of small ruminant practice; and to be the voice for small ruminant issues. The association represents more than 1,000 veterinarians throughout the United States and abroad.
