One Health Challenge (ad-hoc)
The OHC
committee is based on the ‘one health, one medicine’ philosophy and embraces SAVMA’s desire to play an active role
in this new
interdisciplinary movement. World
Rabies Day
has been the most notable event the OHC has been involved in.
* This
committee is still in the ad-hoc stage and may become a permanent committee in
the near future.
But as for now, it runs on a volunteer basis with delegates from other
committees donating
their time and ideas.
