Nationwide voluntary recall of some Kent Feeds swine feed products

June 17, 2010

Kent Nutrition Group, Inc. is voluntarily recalling some Kent Feeds swine feeds products. The products are being recalled due to insufficient vitamin D levels in a vitamin premix in the feed products.

All recalled products were sold in 50-lb. bags or in bulk. The affected products were manufactured between December 1, 2009 and June 7, 2010 and affected lot numbers are 09335 through 09365 and 10001 through 10158. On the 50-lb bags, the lot numbers are located on the tape of the sewn end of the bag. For the products sold in bulk, the lot lot is on the product label accompanying the shipment as well as on the invoice.

Customers who have purchased these products should return them to their nearest Kent Dealer for product replacement. Questions may also be directed to the company by calling 1-800-552-9620, extension 4541 (M-F, 8 am – 5 pm).
