Winn Feline Foundation calls for grant proposals

www.WinnFelineHealth.org The Winn Feline Foundation, a nonprofit organization affiliated with The Cat Fanciers' Association Inc., is accepting applications for 2004 grants.

The foundation supports research on medical problems affecting cats. This past year, the foundation awarded grants totaling $133,670 to researchers working on topics as varied as vaccine-site sarcoma, feline lymphoma, feline diabetes, and contraceptive vaccines for use in free-roaming cats.

Grant applications must be received by Dec. 1, 2003. In 2004, special consideration will be given to mammary cancer projects.

The maximum grant amount is $15,000. Awards will be announced in March 2004.
