The new veterinary subspecialty of Veterinary Toxicologic Pathology was officially recognized by the AVMA Executive Board at its meeting in April.

The AVMA Council on Education recommended that the AVMA grant full recognition to the subspecialty Veterinary Toxicologic Pathology within Veterinary Anatomic Pathology, a recognized veterinary specialty of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists.
