The Executive Board has adopted a framework proposed by the Strategic Planning Committee designed to aid the board in setting and achieving goals.

Four sections are listed in the two-page Strategic Planning Framework document: critical issue identification, issue management, communication, and cultural integration.

The committee considers the framework to be the first phase in meeting its charge to coordinate and foster an effective strategic planning process.
