The new ex officio trustee to the AVMA Professional Liability Insurance Trust is Dr. Rosemary J. LoGiudice, assistant director in the AVMA Membership and Field Services Division. She replaces Dr. Arthur V. Tennyson who retired on April 30 of this year.

Dr. LoGiudice has extensive knowledge about PLIT and will serve as liaison between the Trust and the Executive Board. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. Prior to coming to the AVMA, Dr. LoGiudice was a mixed practice, primarily equine, private practitioner, working as an associate partner and practice owner for over 20 years.

In June, the Executive Board approved appointment of Dr. LoGiudice to the position on recommendation of AVMA Executive Vice President Dr. Bruce W. Little.
