The Committee on Wellness, which will sunset at the close of the 2004 AVMA Annual Convention, recommended changes to the purpose, charge, and structure of the Member Services Committee so as to promote wellness issues to veterinarians.

Executive Board members, instead, approved a recommendation from Dr. Gregory S. Hammer, District II representative, to refer the proposal to the Member Services Committee for further study.
