Attendance at the World Small Animal Veterinary Congress this October in Greece was authorized for a member of the Convention Management and Program Committee and two AVMA staff members.

The Executive Board approved a committee recommendation that the AVMA be represented at the meeting to promote the 2005 World Veterinary Congress in Minneapolis, which the AVMA is hosting.

The World Small Animal Veterinary Congress is one of the largest international gatherings of veterinarians and is an opportune venue to promote the 2005 World Veterinary Congress.

Additionally, the congress is a chance for AVMA meeting planners to observe an international meeting of similar size and scope to the Minneapolis conference.

Dr. Ron Banks, the Other Convention Activities Section manager on the committee, will represent the committee at the meeting in Rhodes, Greece.
