Small animal veterinarians will want to check out the great educational program slated for the AVMA Annual Convention in Denver on Saturday, July 19. Dr. Craig Greene, professor of small animal medicine at the University of Georgia, will give a two-hour presentation titled "Cat and Dog Vaccination: A Reaction to the AVMA Council on Biologic and Therapeutic Agent's Report." Other speakers will discuss the progress of the vaccine labeling and adverse event reporting initiatives.
