EXECUTIVE BOARD COVERAGE

The 2009 edition of "AVMAPAC Honor Roll of Contributors, A Decade of Giving" will be published electronically rather than in print.

The Executive Board approved the Association's Political Action Committee Policy Board's recommendation, which will save the AVMA $35,000 in printing costs.

During its fall 2008 meeting, the policy board discussed alternatives to the publication of the 2008 Honor Roll of Contributors. The policy board believes an electronic version of the Honor Roll of Contributors fits with the PAC Policy Board's desire to utilize the AVMAPAC Web site more effectively.

Executive Board members also approved a recommendation allowing the policy board to hold an official meeting during the AVMA House of Delegates winter session/Veterinary Leadership Conference in January 2009.
