AVMAPAC Honor Roll of Contributors
As the AVMAPAC concludes the 110th Congress, it is appropriate to recognize veterinarians and others who have supported AVMA legislative efforts by contributing to the AVMAPAC each year and especially this election cycle. Their dedication and generosity truly is AVMAPAC's greatest asset, and they have provided the backbone of our profession's influence in the federal political process.
This Honor Roll acknowledges individuals who have supported our profession by contributing to AVMAPAC consistently, year after year. On behalf of the AVMAPAC Policy Board and the entire veterinary profession, we sincerely thank them.
The AVMAPAC Honor Roll of Contributors lists all contributors who have given a total of $250 or more during the past 10 years. The contributors' names, hometowns, veterinary schools, and graduation years appear in alphabetical order among those who contributed similar amounts. Asterisks (*) next to the names signify the individual's contribution Club Level, which is based on contributions made during calendar year 2008, as of October 31.
PAC contributions are voluntary, and contributors are assured that they may contribute any amount or none at all without fear of reprisal. Contributions to AVMAPAC must be drawn from personal accounts. Federal election laws prohibit the use of funds from corporate accounts for political contributions. Such contributions may be used only to pay AVMAPAC administrative expenses. Contributions to AVMAPAC are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
Despite our best efforts, omissions and errors may have occurred. If you discover errors, please inform us, so we can correct them, and future reports will be accurate. If you have questions or corrections on this report or anything else relating to the AVMAPAC please contact Dr. Mark Lutschaunig, Governmental Relations Division Director, at 202-289-3205.
