Description:	This 2 hour course for equine owners, breeders & caretakers will be divided into lecture and lab. Basic physical examination techniques such as taking a heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, listening to gut sounds, feeling digital pulses & body condition scoring will be demonstrated & practiced by the attendees. Normal values will also be discussed. Attendees will learn appropriate techniques for administering oral and ocular medications as well as giving sub-Q & intramuscular injections.
