Description:	Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive approach to the abdomen for organ biopsy, diagnostic techniques and surgical procedures. The first day of the course will include lectures on the procedures to be performed in the laboratory, followed by a hands-on session using fresh pig cadavers to practice the basic laparoscopic skills. On the second day the participants will perform laparoscopy on anesthetized dogs. Participants will learn basic approaches and tissue manipulation.
