Manuscripts submitted to the Topics in Drug Therapy feature should consist of short reviews of the clinical pharmacologic characteristics of single drugs or discussions of a single therapeutic objective. Although the Topics in Drug Therapy feature does not have a specific word or page limit, manuscripts should typically not be more than 2,500 words long, excluding references. Only the most pertinent references should be included.
Authors should follow all general guidelines for manuscript preparation and submission, including guidelines for preparation of electronic copies of figures, given in the Instructions for JAVMA Authors.
