USDA FSIS Food Safety Internships and other Student Training Programs

The AVMA recommends the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service continue its internship training programs and other student training programs for veterinary students in the area of food safety and recommends that the USDA-FSIS cooperate with veterinary colleges and schools to provide academic credit for the program.
