All veterinarians have a professional and moral obligation to alert the public to the seriousness of the dog bite problem in the United States. State and local associations and individual veterinarians assume a responsibility for disseminating information to school or other youth groups, civic clubs and agencies of government with the view of focusing attention upon this serious problem and its prevention.
