A step in the right direction: Congress to send more funds to veterinary schools

Last month, an amendment in some ways similar to Veterinary Public Health Workforce Expansion Act (VPHWEA) – but in significant ways, dramatically different – was attached to the Higher Education Act Reauthorization. The bill passed the U.S. House and Senate and was sent to the President to be signed into law. [
