Summer Research Program for Ethnic Minority Veterinary Students
 
The College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University has a federal funding from the National Institutes of Health for 3 month summer research programs for ethnic minority veterinary students for the Summer of 2010. The program will consist primarily of one-on-one research with faculty scientists who have active funded research programs. A wide range of topics is available for research depending upon the interests of the student and the research programs of the faculty. Discussion sessions on responsible conduct of research will also be provided. Students will be provided a stipend of $1,998/month and funds to assist with travel to and from Pullman, WA. Applicants interested in a position should provide a resume, names and addresses of 3 references, and a letter indicating their interest in research, grade point average, description of career goals, and identification of specific area of research interest. The letter should state the requisite accommodations. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled; review will begin February 2010. Please address applications to David J.
