Research Training Opportunities for Veterinarians: Comparative Medicine and Biodefense
 
The University of Missouri is accepting applications for postgraduate training positions. The program provides individuals with research training in comparative medicine in the applicant's interest area. Broad range of research opportunities is available including, but not limited to, studies in mutant mouse and rat biology, infectious disease pathogenesis and diagnosis, including category A through C agents of bioterrorism, pathogen discovery, immunology, molecular microbiology, reproductive biology, cryobiology, cardiovascular and exercise physiology, and radiopharmaceutical development. Training culminates in a PhD degree and is designed to prepare individuals for careers in comparative medicine or biodefense research. Candidates must have a DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree.
