Classification of Colleges

AVMA listed: A foreign college recognized by the World Health Organization or the government of its own country, whose graduates are eligible to practice in that country, and whose graduates may qualify for entrance in the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates® (ECFVG) certification program.

AVMA accredited: Colleges in the United States and Canada and foreign colleges (colleges outside the US and Canada) evaluated by the AVMA Council on Education and found to meet accreditation standards as published at http://www.avma.org/education/cvea/coe_pp.asp.
