NEWS ALERT
January 2011

Changes to the program registration refund policy

Effective with candidates who initially register in the ECFVG certification program on or after January 1, 2011, the $275.00 ECFVG program application fee is nonrefundable. However, if a candidate wishes to withdraw from the ECFVG certification program within 60 days after initially applying, the $725.00 ECFVG Quality Assurance Program (QAP) fee will be refunded upon written or E-mail request to the ECFVG office. No fees will be refunded for withdrawal requests received more than 60 days after initially applying to the program.

2011 edition of the CPE Manual of Administration distributed

Eligible ECFVG candidates who have requested and received a CPE application should also have received the 2011 edition of the CPE Manual of Administration. This edition is clearly marked on the front cover with "2011 Edition" and "For use ONLY in CPE administrations during calendar year 2011," and at the bottom of each page with the notation "For use ONLY during calendar year 2011." If you are scheduled to take the CPE in 2011 and do not have the correct edition of the Manual of Administration, please contact the ECFVG office immediately.

New documentation processing fee policy initiated January 1, 2011

A $100 documentation processing fee will be charged to those ECFVG candidates or certificate holders who request copies of certified, notarized, or official documents (veterinary school diploma, transcript) or English language examination score reports be sent to a third party. The ECFVG cannot assure that such copies will be acceptable to the third party and urges candidates and certificate holders to obtain assurance directly from the third party before making such requests, because the documentation processing fee cannot be refunded.
