I would like to know if (the AVMA) feels that now that the grandfather clause has gone away for the licensed technicians if there are enough (veterinary technician) schools and if there are enough licensed techs available to support the veterinary profession.

QUESTION:  What is the one topic you would have liked to have discussed at yesterday's AVMA Town Hall meeting?

Office manager at a small animal practice
I am vice president of the Greater Atlanta Veterinary Management Group, and one of the things that I think we would like to do as well as AVMA is getting out to the public the importance of education in the early years, like middle schools, and how (the AVMA) wants to go about advertising that.

Chevy Welsh
Chevy Welsh

2nd-year veterinary
student
I would like to hear about tuition rates, maybe about (student) loans. What are they doing about them, to see if they can help us out a little bit more than us having to take out $100,000 worth of loans every couple of years.
