The importance of veterinary visits for cats will be covered on today's AVMA Convention News Network television program. Highlighted is the CATalyst Council, which aims to ensure cats receive proper care and attention.

Another story features Courtney Oliver. This past year, at the age of 10, she completed an online course and now is certified as a veterinary assistant.

The AVMA Scientific Activities Division also will be featured.

A new 30-minute show is provided each day, today through Tuesday, airing 24 hours a day on a continuous loop. The show broadcasts on televisions in the convention center and certain convention hotels.
