Corry in as AVMA president-elect, Brown as vice president


The AVMA House of Delegates elected Dr. Larry R. Corry of Buford, Ga., the Association's 2008-2009 president-elect on Saturday. Delegates also chose Dr. Gary S. Brown of Princeton, W. Va., to be AVMA vice president. Both candidates ran unopposed and were elected by unanimous consent. [more]



Local veterinarians recover from Katrina


Veterinarians have not returned to the New Orleans area in full force in the three years since Hurricane Katrina, but they have reopened or rebuilt enough clinics to serve what is now a smaller community. [more]
