How to Take Action

AVMA Members

  1. Go to the Congressional Advocacy Network Website.

  2. Log on using your Member ID# as your username and your last name as a password.

  3. Find the issue or legislation that most concerns you and click on the Take Action link.

  4. Make a phone call or send a pre-written email letter to your Representative and Senators with one click of the mouse.

  5. Email any questions or log-in difficulties to avmagrd@avma.org

AVMA Non-Members

  1. Go to the Congressional Advocacy Network Website.

  2. Click on the New? Register here link. Create a username/password for your first log-in (you must include your address so that we can match you with your members of Congress).

  3. Find the issue or legislation that most concerns you and click on the Take Action link.

  4. Make a phone call or send a pre-written email letter to your Representative and Senators with one click of the mouse.

  5. Email any questions or log-in difficulties to avmagrd@avma.org
