AVMA Fellowship Program

The 2013-2014 AVMA Fellowship Program, in conjunction with the American Association for the Advancement of Science Fellowship Program, will run from the last week in August 2013 until August 2014.

The application period for the 2012-2013 Fellowship Program ended on February 10, 2012.

The application period for the 2013-2014 Fellowship Program will begin in October 2012.

"The AVMA Congressional Fellowship Program provides a uniquely rich and rewarding professional development experience. It has truly been a transformational experience for me. As health policy fellow for U.S. Senator Ron Wyden, I feel that I have been right in the middle of the action. The part of veterinary medicine that I love most is One Health; which crosses species, crosses professions, and crosses national boundaries. One Health is a truly a collaboration between medical scientists, veterinary scientists, and environmental scientists; and that is truly an exciting place to be working. As an AVMA Congressional Fellow working in health policy fellow, I have been able to partake in all of that."
