Congressional Advocacy Network Launches Facebook Group
In an effort to get more veterinarians and allies engaged in advocacy, AVMA-CAN has created a special interest group on the popular social networking site Facebook. The group, called "American Veterinary Medical Association Congressional Advocacy Network," can be found here. We hope to take advantage of Facebook's viral environment to help grow the network and amplify AVMA's advocacy voice. Action alerts and information on pending legislation can be found there. Members can post photos, messages and videos for the group. The group is open to any and all Facebook users, so we encourage you, your family and friends to join our group to help advance the profession of veterinary medicine.
