1099 Reporting Requirements-Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act

The new healthcare law contains a tax information reporting requirement that will impact all small businesses. Currently, businesses utilize Form 1099 to report any service-related transactions over $600 involving an unincorporated business (sole proprietor, partnership and LLC). More »

The House Agriculture Committee has scheduled a "mark-up" for H.R. 3519, the Veterinarian Services Investment Act, on July 28, 2010. It is anticipated that Committee members will modify the bill before reporting it out of Committee.
